Plant and refinery explosions and accidents are catastrophic!
Not only might the explosion be fatal to the industrial worker on the scene, but local neighbors must also deal with the aftermath. Being a worker in an industrial environment means that anything can go wrong at any time, and you now have to figure out how to deal with your injuries after the accident. You may have lost your job, built up medical expenditures, and even routine daily tasks have become difficult to complete.
Sadly, these tragedies are not an uncommon occurrence! A Houston plant and refinery explosions lawyer is ready to help you pursue a personal injury claim.
The Houston attorneys at Ramji Law Group stand behind those who have been affected by refinery and plant explosions, as well as their family members. Many times, we witness how explosions may have been avoided, as well as how firms frequently fail to look after and care for their personnel. Employees are sold on the idea that their firm will look after them, that they will be supported, yet they are nowhere to be found during the recovery process. Instead, the corporation begins a cover-up operation. They begin to look for ways to protect themselves.
While every case is unique as a fingerprint, the goal is always the same: to hold reckless companies accountable and ensure our clients and their families are fully and fairly compensated for all their injuries and financial losses.
The Ramji Law Group refuses to just sit back and let these companies neglect their duty to those who work for them!
Reality and what we wish to believe are on opposite ends of the spectrum. We’d like to assume that these large corporations care about workplace safety and their employees who report to work every day. The sad reality is that, in order to save money, these organizations frequently wind up compromising on safety, employee well-being, and maintenance.
Whether the owner or operator violated standard operating procedures or company safety policies to cut costs and increase profits or failed to follow federal or state safety rules to cut costs and increase profits, there is always a greater emphasis on increasing profits and meeting deadlines than on worker safety. They don’t seem to care that this can have an impact on people’s lives and families! A plant and refinery explosions lawyer in Houston is ready to help.

Houston fire Chief Sam Peña said at least one person was hospitalized in the blast that resulted in propylene burning for several hours after the explosion. The identities of the dead and injured were not immediately released.
Peña said that firefighters are allowing the remaining fire to burn itself out, but that the fire is contained. Peña said there are no concerns over air quality at this time.

Houston police Chief Art Acevedo said that there is no evidence that terrorism or an intentional act were involved in the blast, but a multiagency arson investigation has begun.
Peña said firefighters have searched about 190 homes west of the blast site so far. He said some homes have sustained significant damage, noting several of them have been moved off their foundations. Peña said debris from the explosion is being found at least a quarter-mile from the blast site. Both Peña and Acevedo said that residents who find debris in the yards should not touch it and should call 911 so that the evidence can be collected.
