Curtis earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Minor in Business from Louisiana State University in 2019 before pursuing his legal education at South Texas College of Law in Houston, where he earned his Juris Doctor in May 2024. His legal experience prior to becoming an attorney spans multiple areas, including personal injury, real estate law, entertainment law, and immigration law, providing him with a well-rounded foundation for his practice.
Curtis became licensed to practice law in October 2024 and currently represents clients across many different accident types, including motor vehicle accidents, 18-wheeler accidents, and slip-and-fall injuries. His dedication to client advocacy, coupled with his knowledge of the legal system, allows him to navigate complex cases effectively and fight for the justice his clients deserve.
Outside of his legal work, Curtis enjoys traveling, spending time with his family, and playing and watching soccer. He is also dedicated to giving back to the community and frequently volunteers at the Houston Food Bank.
Curtis comes from a strong Jamaican heritage, with both of his parents having moved to the U.S. for college, where they met. Growing up, he spent much of his childhood visiting family and friends in Jamaica, particularly during the summers. His two younger brothers are both currently in medical school, and the three of them share a close bond, having grown up together in Houston while maintaining deep ties to their Jamaican roots.
